Important News about the 2011 Rally

The 17th Annual Aircooled RD Club Rally will be on the weekend of 1st/2nd/3rd July 2011.

3MA went on the hunt for a new venue with better facilities

The New Rally Venue will be

Haslems - Haslams Lane, Darley Abbey, Derby, DE22 1EB
its the Home of the Derby Rugby Club.

There will be a limited menu available on the Friday and the clubhouse will be open 2pm onwards.
We are sharing the venue a little on friday night with a local running club who are doing a 10km fun run.
The advantage with that there is an outside bar and barbeque which we can also use!

Saturday and Sunday there will be breakfasts from 8am onwards and a limited food menu through the day and evenings.
The showers will be open from around 7 in the morning until 9-10 at night on Frida, Saturday and Sunday.

The new venue is only 10 miles from the MFN.

The reason for the move...

The MFN club was OK'ish but it lacked in a few basic facilities. It was offered to us free in the first year but shortly before the second rally they said there was a charge..
We could do a lot better for the money - hence the change

3MA has sorted it for next years rally

And its a few miles further south for us as well.
That should make it a bit sunnier.
